Trips and Trails through Samsara

A journal of inner and outer travels, meetings with remarkable people, old and new friends, storytellers, artists, poets, tricksters, bicycle thiefs and people I love, starting in Nepal in June and taking me to where I don't know....

Cultural difficulties....

And then again, on another day, there are things about India I have trouble to understand. Here we are in a city where about 300 000 people have no toilet, where the names and adresses of rapes victims are published in the press, but the attacker is merely called "the boy", where AIDS, prostitution and women's trafficking is booming, where a worker earns in a week what a tourist spends for a modest meal in a decent restaurant, where the homeless are sleeping in the middle of the street and get run over by drunken truck drivers - and what is it people are interested in?

Their fucking past lifes....

Don't you have observed, that people are in nothing interested but in themselves?

Doesn't it feels like an excellent excitment, to bother about conditions, you describe as cultural difficulties...?

Where else root those so called cultural difficulties...? but in a cruel violence, serving nothing but the own violent EGO-presentation on the head of victims?

Who are those two little girls in your fotograf to your thoughts? What did these children get to serve as example for your thoughts?

Is there one root of touristic joy, to feel so far ahead and above this primitive violent fight for survival?

what are the Cultural Difficulties... in those sick people?

The photo you mention shows two of the street children we are looking for sponsors for. You are very welcome to jump beyond your EGO and many THEORIES and share some of your EUROS with them. LOVE, Tatina
